Audiograph
Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 18:13 tagged installations, noise
Audiograph is like a seismograph for sound. It measures the sound level in a space and creates a visual timeline of this level. It’s like a real-time score of the everyday noise and the sounds we make. The installation was created by Christopher Ruggio.

Hi Antima, I agree, there could probably be a simpler way of doing this. But I think this isn't just a piece of functional equipment. Rather, it's a piece of art with a function. And art isn't always about doing things as efficient as possible.
Let me remind you this is not my project, it's made by Christopher Ruggio.
